MY
STORY

As a seven year old I underwent an eye operation in our local hospital.

All I remember from the stay is lots of, and I mean lots of attention from nurses working in that department as I was the youngest patient there.

From there on, I wanted to be a nurse! As simple as that!

Following this passion I studied being a general nurse and ended up working as a dental nurse for a local private dentist in SLOVAKIA.

Almost immediately I started having a back ache.

Despite of pain after working there for couple of years as a dental nurse I was hooked. I loved it and wanted to progress and started studying dental hygiene. Yet, I was young and wanted to go out there and explore. Therefore I decided to go traveling to the UK where I met my now husband.

The journey to be registered in the UK with GDC ( general dental council) was not easy however I persevered and finally got registered as a dental hygienist and started working in the UK and was delighted.

My husband's dream was to go and live in Canada, therefore we went and lived there for number of years. While living in Canada I was not working as a DH. I had bit more time so I followed my second passion to become a fitness instructor. I discovered that exercising has always made me feel good.

Practicing certain exercise even helped my back while I was working as a dental professional.

After returning to the UK I realized many dental professionals suffer from muscular-skeletal issues too and I wanted to help.

I created a fitness and ergonomic program for dental professionals called LOOSE HANDs, designed specifically for dental professionals who may be facing discomfort in their wrists, shoulders, shoulder blades, back, lower back, and hips, allowing them to carry out their work without experiencing pain.

LOOSE HANDS is called LOOSE HANDS because we work with hands and in order to be pain free we need to haven muscles free of tension, knots and we need to have strong supportive muscles around our core and spine.
